Light Up Your Sacral as a Manifesting Generator in Human Design

We’re back talking about Human Design and for this month’s issue, I’d love to introduce you to one of the most powerful types in the system: Manifesting Generators.
Now, each type is powerful, don’t get me wrong. If you read my article in last month’s issue about Projectors, you’ll be enthralled by their unique and very impressive ways.
But the Manifesting Generator has a power that combines two of the Human Design types; the ability to get things done like Generators, and the ability to create and manifest like the Manifestor.
This is for you if you are a Manifesting-Generator, or know someone who is.
The Open Aura
The Mani-Gen is one of five aura types in Human Design; 37% of the world are Mani-Gens and you are known for your sacral bursts of energy and your ability to multitask and get a huge amount of work done.
Your aura is open, which means you are ready for people to move towards you so that you can envelope them in your magnetic energy.
Multi-Tasking Mania
When you are lit up by what you do, you will have an abundance of energy; you have the ability to skip traditional steps to get things done because you will see and execute a faster way. However, if you are doing the work that makes you feel drained, take a step back to see what you can change because you are designed to go go go!
You may get bored easily; has anyone ever told you that you move from job to job too quickly and you don’t take the time to settle down? That’s ok, you are moving as designed. You may never feel the need to complete things either; any completionist energy may be an influence on you from the outside world!
In business, outsourcing the completion of what you started, or simply having admin help is a great way to grow your business and really stick to what you said you’d do.
Impatience
We live in a world where we have things at our fingertips instantly. Did you know that in some parts of the world, you can order a TV, have it delivered and installed within just 1 hour? As a Manifesting Generator you may always feel like the world is lagging behind, or at least you may feel the impatience of wanting something to happen… but you have to wait.
Waiting is an important part of your design. As your strategy is to wait to respond; you are designed to wait for the right person or opportunity to enter your orbit and when they do, you are there, ready to respond yes or no to it.
But waiting isn’t a passive action like we have been taught. We don’t sit on the sofa wondering what will happen next. Waiting is moving through the world, doing what we love, weaving in and out of different auras. That’s when we will find something, or someone, to respond to.
Saying no is hard
As a Manifesting-Generator, you are a sacral being, meaning that you are designed to have a somatic and bodily reaction to yes or no questions. You will feel lit up and happy if it’s correct for you to say yes, and because you have all the energy in the world when you love what you do, you will say yes to everything. You are the yes person!
However, you can take solace in the knowing that when you listen to your body, and it says no, that’s because there’s a different opportunity awaiting you that requires your energy. Saying yes to everything isn’t always fruitful, it may even be draining and boring for you.
Learn to discern what is correct for you with your body’s responses and realise that saying yes or no doesn’t have to have a logical reason attached to it. It is what it is!
What about self care?
So far, I’ve painted this picture of someone who is on fire and ready to go constantly. Of course, you are a human being living in a human body. You need rest, self care and recouperation. Most Mani-Gens I know do not know how to sit still. It is in our rest phase that we ignite our creativity. As a sacral being, you have boundless creativity but you may have suppressed it because of your always multi-tasking, always saying yes to everything.
Make sure that you slow down from time to time. It is in our slowing down that we create the ability to speed up, allowing the creativity to flow and build something that lights us up!
Manifestation madness
Children (and women) should be seen and not heard; says the old adage of our society. The heavy conditioning that bears down on us that we need to be quiet.
Whilst I think that everyone needs to develop deep listening skills, it’s also important for us all to have a voice in this world. And you, my beautiful Mani-Gen, have a powerful voice.
A voice ready to share your story, views and life. And also a voice that has the power to manifest. So here’s a manifestation tip for you: try saying what you want out loud. To yourself, if you wish, but just say it. It’s far more powerful that way, and believe it or not, the mechanics of your design ensure that you will manifest what you speak. Literally!
If you are a Manifesting-Generator, I’d like to invite you to consider the following mantras as part of your daily routine. Remember them and repeat them because you may (probably!) have been conditioned otherwise.
I can spring from task to task because that’s how I am designed
I am satisfied with my life when I do what lights me up
I trust my gut instinct and inner response to guide me towards what is right for me
I have the power to say no
I speed up if I slow down
If you are not a Manifesting Generator, but have one in your life, empower your Mani-Gen by:
Not reprimanding them for switching from one task to another and not finishing things off, but instead admiring their ability to be able to multi task efficiently
Asking them yes or no questions that they can respond too, rather than open ended questions. For example “Do you want a salad for dinner tonight?” rather than “what do you want for dinner tonight?”
Encourage them to follow what excites them most, even if it seems unconventional or changes frequently, trusting that their unique energy thrives when they pursue what lights them up.
One final tip from me, your Human Design expert and resident pure individual Projector, is no matter what type you are in this incredible system, just be you. You can use Human Design to affirm who you are and that you are on the right path.
And when you know who you are, you can stand strong in the conviction of who you are, shining your light into the world which will empower other women to do the same!
